The fiber behind this cushion travels a long path — from a free-roaming llama in the Andean highlands, through hand-shearing and hand-spinning, to a weaver in a remote community where the craft has continued, uninterrupted, for generations.
Its surface is worked into a dense, all-over pile: fiber brushed until it stands fully open, thick and long, closer to the depth of mohair than to a conventional wool cushion. Made from undyed llama fiber, front and back, and set along a sofa, bed, or bench, its elongated shape holds that same texture across its full length — soft, heavy, alive under the hand.
Oat is the palest warm tone in the range — a soft, faded beige between cream and sand. On a cushion, it settles into a warm neutral scheme without effort, equally at home on a linen sofa or layered over crisp white bedding.
