The Studio
About ANDINA
A textile studio rooted in the landscapes and traditions of northern Argentina. We work with artisan communities across the Andes to make handwoven rugs and textiles that join ancestral craft with contemporary design.
The Artisans
Our pieces are woven by artisans in remote highland regions, many of them women who learned the craft from their mothers and grandmothers.
Weaving sustains their families and keeps alive a cultural knowledge that has passed from one generation to the next.
Materials
We work only with natural fibers: pure sheep’s wool and undyed llama fiber, chosen for their warmth, durability and honest beauty.
Production is small-batch and made to order, which keeps waste low and favors pieces that last over volume.
Slow Design
Every rug, throw and cushion is woven with time and intention, and keeps the quiet irregularities that show the hand behind the weave.
We design for rooms, not seasons: pieces meant to be lived with for decades.
Fair Trade
Each partnership is built on respect: fair pay, transparency and growth shared with the communities we work with.
Supporting ethical production is how we honor both the people and the landscapes that make our work possible.

Pure sheep’s wool and undyed llama fiber from the Andes. Nothing synthetic in the weave.
Loom
Woven by Hand
Every piece is woven on a traditional loom, one at a time, by the same artisans we have worked with for years.

Made to Order
Pieces are made when you order them, in the size and colors you choose, with lead times stated from the start.
