High in the Argentine Andes, at altitudes where few roads reach, llamas roam freely across open highland landscapes. The communities that raise them have done so for generations — their primary livelihood, and the source of one of the finest natural fibers in the world.
Its surface is worked into a dense, all-over pile: fiber brushed until it stands fully open, thick and long, closer to the depth of mohair than to a conventional wool cushion. Made from undyed llama fiber, front and back, and set along a sofa, bed, or bench, its elongated shape holds that same texture across its full length — soft, heavy, alive under the hand.
Ash is the lighter of ANDINA’s two gray tones — a cool, pale gray with the quiet warmth that undyed fiber always carries. On a cushion, it reads as versatile: cool enough for a minimal room, textured enough to feel organic.
