Across the high plateaus of northern Argentina, llama herding communities live at altitudes most visitors never reach. Their animals graze freely, and the undyed fiber they produce is spun and woven by hand, exactly as it has been for generations.
Its surface is worked into a dense, all-over pile: fiber brushed until it stands fully open, thick and long, closer to the depth of mohair than to a conventional wool cushion. Made from undyed llama fiber, front and back, and set along a sofa, bed, or bench, its elongated shape holds that same texture across its full length — soft, heavy, alive under the hand.
Black is the rarest tone in the ANDINA llama range — not a dyed black, but the natural dark coat of certain llamas, deep and faintly varied rather than flat. On a cushion, it works as a precise, grounding accent against pale walls or natural wood.
