In the remote highlands of northern Argentina, herding communities follow seasonal rhythms unchanged for generations. The llamas move freely across open terrain, and the fiber they carry is hand-spun by artisans for whom this is simply how they live.
Its surface is worked into a dense, all-over pile: fiber brushed until it stands fully open, thick and long, closer to the depth of mohair than to a conventional wool cushion. Made from undyed llama fiber, front and back, and set along a sofa, bed, or bench, its elongated shape holds that same texture across its full length — soft, heavy, alive under the hand.
Oak is the natural coat of warm-toned brown llamas — a rich, grounded brown with reddish undertones that shifts slightly with the light. On a cushion, it brings warmth without weight, an easy anchor next to stone, linen, or pale wood.
