The fiber behind this cushion travels a long path — from a free-roaming llama in the Andean highlands, through hand-shearing and hand-spinning, to a weaver in a remote community where the craft has continued, uninterrupted, for generations.
Its surface is worked into a dense, all-over pile: fiber brushed until it stands fully open, thick and long, closer to the depth of mohair than to a conventional wool cushion. Made from undyed llama fiber, front and back, the brushing is worked evenly across the entire piece, so from any angle the cushion reads as pure texture — soft, heavy, alive under the hand.
Camel sits between Oat and Oak — warmer than the first, lighter than the second, with a golden undertone that makes it one of the most universally flattering tones in the collection. On a cushion, it works against nearly any backdrop: white, wood, stone, or concrete.
