In the remote highlands of northern Argentina, herding communities follow seasonal rhythms unchanged for generations. The llamas move freely across open terrain, and the fiber they carry is hand-spun by artisans for whom this is simply how they live.
Its surface is worked into a dense, all-over pile: fiber brushed until it stands fully open, thick and long, closer to the depth of mohair than to a conventional wool cushion. Made from undyed llama fiber, front and back, the brushing is worked evenly across the entire piece, so from any angle the cushion reads as pure texture — soft, heavy, alive under the hand.
Shadow is the deeper of the two grays — more presence than Ash, still well short of black. On a cushion, it holds its ground as an accent, a gray with real substance rather than the pale gray of paint or upholstery.
