At ANDINA, we are committed to responsible craftsmanship and environmental stewardship. Through our partnership with a local NGO, a tree is planted in northern Argentina for every order placed—contributing to reforestation and the preservation of native ecosystems.

Each ANDINA piece is handwoven from natural fibers. Subtle variations in tone and texture are inherent to the handmade process and reflect the authenticity of its origin.

The moss is what makes this piece different from the others. Not warm, not cold — it sits between the raw natural and the depth of black, and it changes everything about the composition.

The Yunga Natural, Moss & Black is a handwoven andean wool rug where the green comes directly from the land. Extracted from plants native to the same region where the rug is made, it is not a color chosen from a palette. It is a color that belongs to the place.

The Andean pattern — developed by the artisan communities of the Yunga region — gives the surface a rhythm of lines and marks that is neither geometric nor purely decorative. It carries the logic of a tradition that has been working with these materials for generations.

This handwoven andean wool rug is built without electricity on a wooden loom, flat weave, no pile. Dense and precise. Each piece made to order.

Available from 3×5 ft to 9×12 ft. Custom sizes and palettes through our Bespoke Rugs page. Interior designers are welcome to contact us through our Trade Program.

Northern Argentina Artisans

Behind every ANDINA piece lies the work of artisan weavers living in remote regions of northern Argentina.

Their craft, passed down through generations, is a quiet dialogue between tradition, nature, and time. Using pure, natural fibers and ancestral techniques, they create textiles that embody both cultural heritage and contemporary simplicity.

Each rug, cushion, and throw is the result of patience, skill, and respect—for the land, for the materials, and for the people who keep these traditions alive.
