Each ANDINA piece is handwoven from natural fibers. Subtle variations in tone, texture, and final measurements are inherent to the handmade process and reflect the authenticity of its origin.

Of all the Yunga colorways, this is the warmest. The wood tone — achieved with natural dyes from bark and plants native to northern Argentina — sits between the raw natural and the black, and it pulls the whole composition toward warmth.

The Yunga Natural, Wood & Black is an andean wool area rug that works with interiors built around natural materials. Wood furniture, leather, stone floors, plaster walls — this rug belongs in those rooms without needing to be noticed.

The Andean pattern is the work of the artisan communities of the Yunga region. Lines and marks that carry the logic of a tradition, not a design brief. Each proportion, each rhythm, comes from years of making — not from a screen.

This andean wool area rug is flat woven without pile on a wooden loom, without electricity, by the same cooperatives that have made this pattern for generations.

Available from 3×5 ft to 9×12 ft. Custom dimensions and colorways through our Bespoke Rugs page. Trade inquiries via our Trade Program.

Northern Argentina Artisans

Behind every ANDINA piece lies the work of artisan weavers living in remote regions of northern Argentina.

Their craft, passed down through generations, is a quiet dialogue between tradition, nature, and time. Using pure, natural fibers and ancestral techniques, they create textiles that embody both cultural heritage and contemporary simplicity.

Each rug, cushion, and throw is the result of patience, skill, and respect—for the land, for the materials, and for the people who keep these traditions alive.
