Natural and black. One tone completely untouched — raw sheep fleece exactly as it comes from the animal. One tone achieved through natural dyes, no synthetic pigments at any point.
The Quebracho is a wool runner rug where contrast does all the work. The peinecillo pattern — a comb-like structure woven directly into the fabric — alternates the two tones in a tight, precise rhythm. Up close the surface has depth and texture. From a distance it reads as graphic and clean.
This wool runner rug is made entirely without electricity or industrial machinery, by artisan cooperatives in northern Argentina that have preserved this pattern across generations. The loom is built from local wood. The process is the same as it has always been.
Suited for hallways, beside beds, or in kitchens — any long, narrow space that needs presence without weight.
