Sand is one of those tones that interior designers return to most often precisely because it works without effort. Not quite beige, not quite cream — it sits in the warm middle ground where most materials feel at home.
The Round Rug in Sand begins on a flat loom, like all ANDINA pieces. After weaving, the circular shape is cut from the rectangular base by hand with scissors, and the edge is finished stitch by stitch with needle and wool. No machine does this work. The result is a round wool rug sand colored with a hand-finished edge that has the slight irregularity of something made by a person rather than a process.
The sand tone is achieved with natural dyes from plants and minerals of northern Argentina. The color shifts slightly across the surface — how light falls on hand-spun yarn is never entirely predictable, which is part of what makes it alive.
A round rug changes the logic of a room. It softens corners, suggests a center, makes a space feel considered rather than assembled. This round wool rug works in living rooms, bedrooms, and reading corners in any diameter.
