High in the Argentine Andes, at altitudes where few people live and fewer roads reach, llamas roam freely across open highland landscapes. The communities that raise them have done so for generations — it is their primary livelihood, their connection to the land, and the source of one of the finest natural fibers in the world. Each throw begins there, with an animal and a landscape, before it ever reaches a loom.

Llama fiber is lighter than most natural fibers and warmer than its weight suggests. It does not irritate the skin. It regulates temperature naturally, keeping warmth without overheating. It repels moisture and resists staining without any chemical treatment. None of these properties are added — they belong to the fiber itself, the result of thousands of years of adaptation to extreme Andean conditions. The fiber is never dyed. What you see is the color the animal was born with.

Natural White is the undyed coat of white llamas — a pure, warm cream that carries the slight variation of hand-spun fiber. No two throws are exactly alike in tone. In a room, it reads as the quietest possible neutral: present without imposing, luminous without being stark. It works alongside any palette and asks nothing of the space around it.
