Smokey gray is the cooler, lighter end of the ANDINA gray range — between the warm neutrals and the deeper graphite. It has smoke in it rather than slate, which gives it a softness that darker grays don’t have.
The Round Rug in Smokey Gray introduces that tone into a circular format. The product currently has one image — a top-down view on a light background that shows the color and circular shape clearly. The gray reads as a true mid-tone: not too light to disappear, not too dark to dominate.
Like all ANDINA round rugs, after the flat weave base is complete on a wooden loom in northern Argentina, the circular shape is cut by hand with scissors and the edge finished stitch by stitch with needle and wool. No machinery at any stage.
Smokey gray in a round format works in contemporary and minimalist interiors where a cool neutral is needed — particularly in bedrooms with white bedding and pale floors, or in living rooms where the warm tones of wood and natural are already well-covered and a cooler note is wanted.
