White. Or rather, the absence of any decision about color — this is the wool exactly as it comes from the sheep. No dye, no pigment, no process beyond shearing, spinning, and weaving. What you see is the fiber in its most direct form.

The Solid Fringed Rug in Natural is the same piece as the Solid Natural — same flat weave, same undyed fiber, same even surface — with one addition: fringe on both short sides. The fringe is not sewn on or attached afterward. It is a direct extension of the warp threads that form the structure of the rug itself, left loose and finished by hand. The result is a detail that is structural rather than decorative, honest rather than ornamental.

The fringe changes the presence of the rug in a room. It softens the edge, makes the boundary between rug and floor less defined, and gives the piece a slightly more organic, less architectural character than the clean-edged version. Which version works better depends entirely on the space and the other materials around it.

Flat weave, no pile. Built row by row on a wooden loom in northern Argentina without electricity. The surface is even and firm — the kind of quality that comes from the tightness of the weave, not from any coating or treatment.

Available from 3×5 ft to 9×12 ft. Custom sizes through our Bespoke Rugs page. Interior designers are welcome to contact us through our Trade Program.

Northern Argentina Artisans

Behind every ANDINA piece lies the work of artisan weavers living in remote regions of northern Argentina.

Their craft, passed down through generations, is a quiet dialogue between tradition, nature, and time. Using pure, natural fibers and ancestral techniques, they create textiles that embody both cultural heritage and contemporary simplicity.

Each rug, cushion, and throw is the result of patience, skill, and respect—for the land, for the materials, and for the people who keep these traditions alive.
