Qom weavers, nestled within the dry forest of Northeast Argentina, are part of the indigenous community known as Qomelec’. They navigate the harsh landscape, living amidst extremely dry conditions year-round, often isolated from modern influences but deeply rooted in their Toba culture and reverence for Pachamama, ‘Mother Earth’.

Within the QOM’ Collection, textiles feature simple geometric shapes and traditional Argentinian motifs, carefully arranged to form original patterns that reflect the rich heritage and folklore of the Qomelec’ community. Through their artistry, Qom weavers not only create beautiful pieces but also preserve and honor their cultural identity, forging a timeless connection between past and present.
