At ANDINA, we are committed to responsible craftsmanship and environmental stewardship. Through our partnership with a local NGO, a tree is planted in northern Argentina for every order placed—contributing to reforestation and the preservation of native ecosystems.

Each ANDINA piece is handwoven from natural fibers. Subtle variations in tone and texture are inherent to the handmade process and reflect the authenticity of its origin.

Wood. The color of bark, of weathered timber, of earth after rain. Achieved through natural dyes extracted from plants and minerals native to the region where the rug is made — not approximated, but drawn directly from the landscape.

The Solid Wood is a solid brown wool rug that reads differently depending on the light. In morning light it is warm and amber. In shade it deepens toward brown. The variation is not in the weave — it is in the dye, absorbed unevenly by hand-spun yarn in ways that no industrial process can replicate.

This solid brown wool rug is built without pile, row after row, on a wooden loom in northern Argentina. Dense and even, the surface has a firmness that comes from the tightness of the weave — not stiff, but grounded.

A solid rug in a warm tone is often what an interior needs without knowing it. It doesn’t solve a problem. It settles something.
