Old rose and nut. Two tones that don’t shout. Old rose — a dusty, muted pink that sits close to beige without becoming it. Nut — a warm brown drawn from plant pigments native to northern Argentina, deeper than sand but warmer than coffee. Together they make a pom pom wool area rug that brings color to a space without announcing it.
Both tones are achieved with natural dyes only. No synthetic pigments at any stage. The colors you see are the result of plants and bark from the same region where the rug is made — which is why they work together without effort. They come from the same place.
The pom pom technique is the most labor-intensive in the ANDINA collection. After the base is flat-woven on a wooden loom, each raised element is added individually — tied into the structure, trimmed by hand, positioned with intention. What looks regular from a distance is the result of that repetition, done one pom pom at a time.
This pom pom wool area rug suits bedrooms and living rooms where a room needs warmth and texture without a strong graphic presence.
