At ANDINA, we are committed to responsible craftsmanship and environmental stewardship. Through our partnership with a local NGO, a tree is planted in northern Argentina for every order placed—contributing to reforestation and the preservation of native ecosystems.

Each ANDINA piece is handwoven from natural fibers. Subtle variations in tone and texture are inherent to the handmade process and reflect the authenticity of its origin.

Moss. Not the green of paint or pigment from a factory — the green of plants that grow in the same region where the rug is made. Extracted, mixed, and applied by hand to each batch of wool before weaving begins.

This solid green wool rug is neither flat nor uniform in color. It shifts slightly across the surface — lighter where the yarn caught more dye, deeper where it caught less. This is not a flaw in the process. It is the process.

The Solid Moss is a solid green wool rug woven in a flat weave without pile, built row by row on a wooden loom in northern Argentina. Its surface is quiet but not simple. The texture of hand-spun yarn gives it a depth that machine-made rugs cannot replicate.

A solid rug in a considered color is often the most deliberate choice in a room. It asks for nothing, and gives everything.

Available from 3×5 ft to 9×12 ft. Custom sizes and alternative colorways available through our Bespoke Rugs page. Interior designers are welcome to reach out through our Trade Program.

Northern Argentina Artisans

Behind every ANDINA piece lies the work of artisan weavers living in remote regions of northern Argentina.

Their craft, passed down through generations, is a quiet dialogue between tradition, nature, and time. Using pure, natural fibers and ancestral techniques, they create textiles that embody both cultural heritage and contemporary simplicity.

Each rug, cushion, and throw is the result of patience, skill, and respect—for the land, for the materials, and for the people who keep these traditions alive.
