ABOUT US
ANDINA is a socially-responsible textile design studio made up of artisans, designers, and social entrepreneurs.
Our mission is to share, honor, and promote the strength of the Andean people in northern Argentina and their traditions by sharing their creations with the world. We aim to create a better world socially, environmentally, and economically through our unique pieces.
ARTISANS
We collaborate directly with artisans from various regions of northern Argentina, bordering the Andes mountain range. Many of our artisans are women.
The making of rugs is the main livelihood for many women and their families, who make the pieces by hand, through a completely sustainable and organic process.
FAIR TRADE
SLOW DESIGN
We embrace the beauty and simplicity of Slow Design. Each of our handmade textiles is crafted with care and attention to detail by skilled artisans using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
We believe in quality over quantity, and that our approach creates something truly special – a unique work of art that’s not just a piece of decor, but a textile that tells a story.
